We`re often asked how we pick who gets to be a Guest Chef? Truth is we don`t have a formula or a system to pick. Often they are recommended to us, or suggested through a connection.
The short answer is we want to work with AMAZING people who put in the time and energy to make our community a better place. Typically these people are putting in the long hard hours behind the scenes and doing it for the betterment of the organization they serve or the community as a whole.
Mindy Smythe is exactly the kind of people we want to celebrate. The one who works hard behind the scenes supporting boards and organizations in our community, giving her time selflessly and always.
Her name has come up in many conversations, from many diverse groups. And that right there solidified our NEED to have Mindy as a Guest Chef celebrating our community.

It`s a good day for a good day‼️
There are no bad days when there’s kids and ice cream involved. Fact✅️
Our latest School Ice Cream Sandwich partnership at our Red Deer location was with Annie L. Gaetz Elementary – raising cash for accessible library seating.
In May a group of student leaders at the school helped us assemble and distribute over 250 ice cream sandwiches to their peers as part of an in-school ice cream sandwich pre-order to help raise some additional funds! A HUGE thanks to the parents that chipped in the cash to order these sweet lunch treats!
We were thrilled to hand over a cheque for $1226❗️
Since launching our Ice Cream Sandwich Program in 2019 we’ve been able to give back more than $35,000 to local schools, all thanks to amazing school partnerships, and YOUR support!
