High fives for Kids in Delburne!!

High fives ALL AROUND to students and staff at Delbure Centralized School, one of our latest stops under our School Ice Cream Sandwich Program.

The “Marshmallow Popcorn Ice Cream Sandwich” landed on our Red Deer menu from December through February.  It included house-made vanilla marshmallow popcorn cookies served with chocolate caramel and vanilla ice cream, garnished with fresh whipped cream, house caramel sauce and toasted walnuts.  $1 from every ice cream sandwich sold is going towards new jerseys for the senior high boys and girls’ volleyball teams!

Every three months, the culinary teams at both of our restaurant locations create an out of this world ice cream sandwich and we select a local school to benefit from ice cream sandwich sales, kicking back $1 of every sandwich sold to a program or project of the school’s choice.

Our team was thrilled to team up with students to help assemble and deliver ice cream sandwiches to the school population through a pop-up ice cream sandwich sale in January.  A big thanks to the parents that chipped in the cash to order these sweet lunch treats, affording us the opportunity to raise some additional funds for the school!

Today (March 9th) we handed over a cheque to Delburne Centralized School for $543 which included $256 raised from the school lunch order (we’re happy to kick back FULL lunch order proceeds)!

Our next Ice Cream Sandwich at our Red Deer location is the “Monster Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich”.  It includes two fresh baked monster cookies with cookie monster ice cream with a house made whipped cream and crushed mini eggs!  $1 from every ice cream sandwich sold will go directly to St. Martin de Porres School for new gym/sports equipment!
